Lorenzo Petrantoni

A revisit of my photos from March’s Pick Me Up exhibition led me to discover (or rediscover) the beautiful illustrations of Lorenzo Petrantoni. Although from Milan, his work to my eyes has quite an old English feel about it and he has a great eye for detail. It’s worth visiting his site for the full experience, soundtrack included! http://www.lorenzopetrantoni.com

I love this stuff. I really feel that this collagey look and feel is making a MASSIVE comeback. It’s so tactile and hands-on! Also the use of old-fashion/ nostalgic and really decorative imagery is so nice after years of ultra-clean minimalism! It all seems so much more human!
